The deadline to register to vote in any manner other than with the township clerk’s office is 15 days before the election.

Voters may register through election day in-person in the township clerk’s office with proof of residency.

All registered voters may vote from home. To request an absentee ballot to vote from home you may send a signed request in writing to the clerk’s office. Absentee voter applications may be returned by mail, in person to the Clerk, or placed in the dropbox to the right of the main township offices front doors.

Remember, your voice is heard through your vote. If you have never voted before and need assistance, any of our Election workers will be glad to help you. If you have any questions please contact me.

Anyone that is interested in being a precinct worker for the elections please stop at the Clerk’s Office and fill out an application.

PUBLIC ACCURACY TESTING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Accuracy Test for the August 4, 2026 Election has been scheduled for Monday, July 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Egelston Township Meeting Room, 5428 E. Apple Ave. Muskegon, Michigan.

The public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the program and computer that will be used to tabulate the results of the election, counts the votes in the manner prescribed by law.
